My initial position in the defensive small/micro-cap space is set from last week, and research will be sent out today after the close.
While the equity appreciation will do its job as long as the thesis is proven correct, making money from your investments doesn’t have to be limited to “buy low and sell high.”
You can, on certain positions, sell options for premium income.
This company is small enough to provide inefficiencies in its valuation, and therefore in its options pricing.
So today marks the first month of selling options for additional cash flow in this position.
After this execution, we can say the position is up 6% already.
